Utility Warehouse also known as UW was founded in 2002 by Charles Wigoder and is located in Colindale North London. The company is a multiservice provider supplying customers with telecommunication services such as broadband internet, gas, mobile phone and landline phones. They currently handle 650,000 customer accounts. The goal of the company is to bring telecommunication services to customers in the United Kingdom. 

The company is not big on advertising it’s services but gears the services for families to save money. Utility Warehouse has purchased two subsidiary companies from Npower allowing the business to grow to one of the largest independent energy suppliers in the country. Utility Warehouse has been rated 7th out of 25 in energy companies and was rated by 7.460 members. They are known to handle complaints quickly and efficiently and received an award in 2018 and 2020 for their energy, broadband and mobile services. They strive to provide the best customer service, accurate bills and respond to all customer email inquiries within 12 hours. With a unique business model, agents who work for Utility Warehouse recruit new customers and earn money when they recruit a new customer. UW has a prepayment meter, a prepayment meter is when you prepay for services you use such as the internet. Once you have exceeded your internet usage for the month, the meter is shut off until it is topped off at any Payzone or Post Offices. The company continues to work hard at gaining more customers and providing the best customer service possible.
